Mike has been an Oxford resident for over 18 years. He and his wife Cheryl have four children and 10 grandchildren. He is a supporter and volunteer with the Oxford Trees, Parks and Recreation Board. He served on the Planning Commission for three years; two of which he served as chairman until his election to City Council in 2015. In addition, he served on the 175th Anniversary Committee and was chairman of the “historical Sites” sub-committee. Mike has been a Kiwanis member for over 27 years, having held the offices of Treasurer, President-elect, and President, as well as Lieutenant Governor of District 21. His mission as City Councilmember is to see growth with positive leadership, while preserving the historical significance of the city.
