City Elections

Election Information
The City of Oxford has one precinct for Municipal Elections held every four years. All residents who live inside the City of Oxford will vote at the City Hall Community Room Precinct located at 110 West Clark Street from 7am to 7pm on Election Day. Statewide and Special elections are also held at this location.

Running for Office in Oxford
The municipal charter of the City of Oxford (Section 2) requires that all candidates shall have been a resident of the City of Oxford for at least twelve (12) months prior to the date of qualification.  Elected officials shall continue to reside in the City during their period of service and continue to be registered and qualified to vote in municipal elections of the City.
