→ Swearing In Ceremony – Judge Steve Hathorn presided over the swearing in ceremony at the beginning of the January 4th council meeting. Mayor Jerry Roseberry was re-elected to a four year term. So were councilmembers Sarah Davis and George Holt. Councilmember Mike Ready was elected to the seat vacated by Lyn Pace.
→ George Street Park – We barricaded George Street Park to protect people from the trenches being dug for the new drainage pipe. The work is proceeding at a steady pace and should be done soon.
→ Police Department – Here are the monthly graphs for the Police Department. These are for the first six months of the fiscal year.
