Drainage on Whatcoat Street – All the rain recently turned two of the parking places on the north side of Whatcoat Street into pretty much a mud bowl. On Thursday, the public works department cleaned out and made some temporary repairs to the storm drain that runs under the street. Below we have shown a picture of the grate before it was cleaned. We've also included a picture of our friends from the City of Covington providing assistance with their vacuum storm drain and sewer cleaning truck. We will need to make more permanent repairs later. We are going to take prices for that.
